‘Oil of Vervain’ – an Illustrated art-print.

This is an illustrated depiction of the folklore surrounding the Vervain plant in the Lincolnshire Fens. The Fens, also known as the Fenland(s), is a naturally marshy region in eastern England. Vervain Oil was used to locate drowned bodies under the belief it would attract eels to the spot in the stream where the body lay.

– 16.5″ x 11.7″ (A3) on 200gsm fine grain, heavy weight paper.

– Limited edition, hand signed print created from original ink and brush artwork.

– Each print is sent in a sturdy cardboard tube wrapped in acid free tissue paper.
